WDVX will Raffle a Grand Prize of $5000 cash with additional prizes, including a Big Green Egg Grill from Greers Home Furnishings, a Smoky Mountain Sunset Cottage Vacation Package and more. To order your raffle tickets call us at 865-544-1029 or toll free at 1-866-946-9389.  You will be able to get raffle tickets at the K-Town Sound Show until 6pm. All checks and money orders must be received by midnight August 28th. The drawing is August 29th 2009 & will be broadcast live on WDVX at around 7pm. Winner need not be present or listening to win but your raffle ticket is also your admission to the K-Town Sound Show & Raffle Drawing Party

WDVX 2009 Fundraising Raffle To benefit WDVX public radio, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  

Ticket price $10.00.  Raffle ticket numbers will be assigned after the order is processed.

Must be 18 years of age to participate. Winner does not have to be present. Taxes & delivery of all prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s).

Winners to provide current valid photo ID. One winner per Raffle drawing. No WDVX employee is eligible to win drawing.

WDVX reserves the right to make final decisions on any disputes.

WDVX presents the first ever K-Town Sound Show & Raffle Drawing Party on Saturday, August 29th at the Worlds Fair Park Amphitheater in Knoxville. The K-Town Sound Show will start at noon on Saturday, August 29th with a Special Saturday Blue Plate Special broadcast featuring Robinella. Featured acts include the Bearded, The Drunk Uncles, The Leadbetters with Phil Leadbetter, Brendon James Wright & the Wrongs, Van Eaton & Friends, The Early Morning Stringdusters, The Tennessee Shines Band, the Black Cadillacs, Y'uns, Medford's Black Record Collection and more. The K-Town Sound Show will start at noon on Saturday August 29th with a Special Saturday Blue Plate Special. Proceeds to benefit WDVX. Official Rules for the WDVX 2009 Raffle

The WDVX 2009 raffle is a fund raising program for WDVX an independent community public radio station, which is an activity of the Cumberland Communities Communications Corporation, a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

1. To Participate: Purchase a raffle ticket from WDVX for $10 per ticket from the website, by phone or from the studio or from events or other authorized outlet and fill out the required information. Up to 10,000 raffle tickets will be available for purchase and entry into drawing. Must be 18 years of age or older to win.

2. The drawing will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2009. The planned drawing location will be from the Worlds Fair Park Amphitheatre in Knoxville, TN. The alternate site will be from the WDVX studio located at 301 South Gay Street in Knoxville, TN. The Winner(s) does not have to be present to win.

3. The Grand Prize will be (1) $5,000. Runner up prizes include: (2) Smoky Mountain Vacation Package and a (3) Big Green Egg Grill. And other runner up prizes maybe added. WDVX reserves the right to replace or substitute runner up prizes of comparable value. The retail value of runner up prizes items will be a least $2,000. The runner up prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

4. The winning raffle ticket number(s) and name(s) will be announced at the drawing. Winner(s) will also be notified by telephone, email or U.S. mail. If winner does not claim prize within 30 days after August 29, WDVX will select a winner by random drawing of entry tickets. All prizes will be awarded. Winners must furnish at least 2 forms of identification and prove eligibility.

6. Prize Winner Responsibilities. Winner is responsible for delivery, taxes, or related fees. Winners' rights may not be transferred or assigned. Winner must furnish two (2) forms of identification to claim prize. To be eligible to receive the prize, the winner must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release. WDVX will issue cash winner appropriate local, state and or federal forms for the winner's records and tax purposes. Release must include a release of claims in connection with the Raffle the Winner may have against WDVX and associated sponsors and its promotional partners. Furthermore, the Winner grants WDVX permission to use their names and photos in promotion and publicity without additional compensation.

7. Ineligible Persons: Persons in any one of the following categories are not eligible to win: Employees, directors or agents of WDVX, Cumberland Communities Communication Corporation, and the immediate family or members of the household of any ineligible person.

8. By purchasing a raffle ticket the participant releases WDVX and its officers, directors and staff, and other related entities from any and all liability with respect to prizes.

9. Interpretations of the rules for the raffle shall rest solely with WDVX whose decision will be final for all purposes. 10. This event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void when prohibited by law.
