Soon it will be five years that I've been Risin' and Shinin' on Saturday mornings. Playing bluegrass music for three hours each week is a thrill for me.  I have loved meeting all the listeners and I now have folks from across the sea writing and listening each week, as well as the listeners in beautiful East Tennessee and surrounding states.  I love getting e mails and hearing each person's bluegrass favorites. And one devoted listener has even named their new dog after me....WHAT A RIDE it's been!

I look forward to the upcoming year and the new music and shows.  I try each week to offer a varied show that will pay respect for the first generation bluegrass pioneers, as well as encompass the new sounds of present musicians.  I love eating, breathing, sleeping, talking about and playing bluegrass music!  BLUEGRASS RULES is my basic philosophy of life.
