Upcoming Uniquely Fridays
July 23rd - Bill Morris, Knox Vegas book signing
William Morris has been a professional journalist for over twenty years. His column The Bottom Line appears monthly in East Tennessee Medical News. He has published a book of poetry - Hearts Apart and a book on competitive BBQ - They Were Smokin'. This mystery/thriller, Knox Vegas - Murder on Market Square, is the first of a series of books featuring his alter ego: Billy Bob Billy. His next book targeted for this fall is a much lighter work titled Sinking the VOL Navy.
Mr. Morris holds workshops to coach authors in self-publishing their works. The workshops are produced thru the University of Tennessee and Knox Vegas Publishing. The workshop was born out of the frustration experienced while trying to get traditional publishers to review his books for publication. Thru leading-edge technology, aspiring authors can publish their book during the eight hour ''boot camp'' and end the day with a 90 day marketing plan.
