Financial support comes from listeners throughout East Tennessee and around the world, as well as area businesses (in the form of underwriting), the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Tennessee Arts Commission, Knox County, City of Knoxville, Arts & Cultural Alliance and a large group of dedicated and loyal volunteers.

WDVX believes in the importance of community involvement. Therefore, we have adopted an Open Meetings Policy and established a Community Advisory Coucil.
The WDVX Board of Directors meetings are open to the public. The Board of Directors meets once each quarter on the third Wednesday of the following months: February, May and August; and the second Wednesday of November. The Executive Board meets the third Wednesday of every month. February, May, August and November meetings are in conjunction with the quarterly meetings. All meetings take place at 7:15 pm in the Knoxville Visitors Center at 301 S. Gay Street in downtown Knoxville, unless otherwise noted.
The WDVX Community Advisorty Council is in the process of establishing a meeting schedule. The next meeting has not been set.
