Noah Wall grew up in Oxford, NC, but now resides in Jonesborough, TN. She is a 2011 graduate of East Tennessee State University where she was a student of the Bluegrass, Old-Time and Country Music Program. She spends most of her time singing, fiddling, and writing songs for the folk/Americana quartet The Barefoot Movement. When she’s not behind the microphone with her band, or on WDVX, she enjoys watching other people make music. In fact, she loves listening to music, especially in her car, just as much as playing it. She’s also a film, television, theater, history, and literature buff. She loves Halloween more than life itself. She’s into roller-coasters. Big ones. She likes cooking (mostly the eating part) and treating her cats, Yuri and Grisha, like her children.
A few of her many favorite bands: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Crosby Stills & Nash, Bob Dylan, Oysterband, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Rolling Stones, My Morning Jacket, Nickel Creek, Hackensaw Boys, Reeltime Travelers, Carole King, Neil Young, The Beach Boys.
TV: Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Mad Men, 30 Rock, The Tudors, That 70′s Show, MST3K, Felicity, Metalocolypse.
