How to Submit Music

If you or your band would like to be considered for airplay on WDVX, please submit a CD to:

Before you submit, listen to the station or take a look at our program schedule to determine if your music would fit in with our programming.  We get many inquiries from musicians who would like to get airplay on WDVX.  We are always happy to review new music, even if you're not on a major record label.

All CDs sent for airplay consideration become the property of WDVX and cannot be returned.

WDVX will not play music with obscenities or indecent content. All submitted material must be edited for obscenities or the offending tracks clearly marked on the CD. If we have to review your material for obscenities, this will prevent or delay airplay.

Please do not send press kits with your CD; a concise, well-written one-sheet is preferable. We receive hundreds of CDs every month and can't possibly read all the material that comes with many of them.  Most of this extra paper is discarded.

Record company, artist promotion and music tracking calls are taken on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. EST & at 4p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 865-544-1029 by Red Hickey.  Red is unavailable between noon & 4 p.m. daily so please avoid these hours for tracking calls.  Or you can e-mail Red at workdesk@wdvx.com. Do not call the Studio or Business Office to follow up on a CD submission.
